The holiday season is upon us! Nothing gets us in the spirit quite like popping some popcorn and getting cozy in front of the TV to watch a feel-good seasonal movie. This year, we'll have a brand-new option for festive, family-friendly entertainment. Great American Channels launched GAC Family on September 27. The new network promises programming that celebrates American culture with original holiday-themed, family-friendly movies and series.
The new network is kicking off the holiday season with an all-new selection of the 12 Movies of Christmas, and the first one premieres on October 30. You're sure to notice some familiar faces, like Jennie Garth, Cameron Mathison, Jill Wagner, and more. You'll want to mark your calendars and prepare to get in the holiday spirit.
October 30: Much Ado About Christmas
Susie Abromeit (Jessica Jones) stars as Haley, a wealthy heiress known for her acts of kindness. Haley meets hopeless romantic Claud (Torrance Coombs), and she keeps her wealthy family a secret. When Claud pitches an ad campaign to Haley's mom and Haley's secrets are revealed, things get...complicated.
November 6: The Christmas Switch
Identical twins Kaelynn and Sophia have grown up believing the other has the more glamorous life. Kaelynn sometimes feels unappreciated in her non-stop world of kids and to do’s. When the two swap places for the Christmas holidays, they experience a role reversal that only a Christmas miracle will set straight!
November 13: Christmas Time is Here
Rukiya Bernard (Van Helsing) stars as Nia Moore, a successful small-town real estate agent trying to sell a resort to her client, Julian (Dewshane Williams). Much to Nia's dismay, the only resort that Julian wants to buy belongs to her widower father, Patrick (Tom Pickett). Patrick is ready to retire, but Nia wants to keep the property and the family memories it holds. Can Julian and Nia come up with a plan to save the resort? It might just take a little Christmas magic.
November 20: A Kindhearted Christmas
Jamie (Jennie Garth), owner a small-town sightseeing company, has a difficult time navigating the holidays after the death of her husband, who loved giving to others at Christmastime. She gets inspired to give an anonymous donation to a local fundraiser after seeing it on the news, and the whole town gets in the gift-giving spirit Newscaster Scott (Cameron Mathison) comes to town to uncover the identity of the secret Santa.
November 26: Angel Falls Christmas
ER doctor Ally Morgan (Jessica Lowndes) struggles for work-life balance with her boyfriend, Josh (David Reale), leading to a breakup on the night he was set to propose. A chance encounter with a barista, Gabe (Chad Michael Murray), leads her to fulfill a Christmas bucket list of fun activities she never would have ventured doing on her own.
November 27: Royally Wrapped for Christmas
Brendan Fehr and Jen Lilley star in this movie about a prince and the commoner who may have stolen his heart.
November 28: Christmas Is You
Emma Bloom's record label boss gives her an ultimatum: convince her ex-boyfriend and recording star Tyler Thorn to leave his label, or find another job. Starring Becca Tobin and Matthew MacCaull.
December 4: Jingle Bell Princess
Merritt Patterson and Trevor Donovan star in this magical tale. Princess Amelia's royal jet is grounded due to a snowstorm, and she finds herself spending the holidays with an airline employee and her son.
December 5: A Lot Like Christmas
A small-town Christmas tree lot owner finds her business in jeopardy when a big-box store moves into town. Maggie Lawson and Christopher Russell star as the competitors who fall for each other.
December 11: A Christmas Miracle for Daisy
An interior designer (Jill Wagner) signs on to redesign a landmark home, which happens to be owned by her ex-boyfriend (Nick Bateman), who has returned to town with his adopted daughter in tow.
December 12: A Christmas Star
Astronomer Madeline Baggett (Sarah Canning) travels to Upstate New York, hoping to capture a once-in-a-lifetime event. She meets widowed National Park Ranger Ryan Sparks (Daniel Lissing), and together they chart the celestial event.
December 19: Joy at Christmas
When her family's annual Christmas toy drive is in jeopardy, Holly Silver (Cindy Busby) must convince pro athlete Jack Kane (Sam Page) to help save it.
